Teen arrested after entering home, making threat

MARSHALL TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WSYM) - A teenager was arrested early Saturday morning after allegedly pointing a gun at people in a home and threatening to kill everyone.

Calhoun County Sheriff's deputies responded to the 15000 block of 16 1/2 Mile Road in Marshall Township just before 2 a.m.

Before deputies arrived, the 17-year-old Marshall teen fled on foot.

Marshall Police later spotted the suspects car on Hanover Street, near Dobbins Street in the city of Marshall. The teen was then arrested.

The teen had thrown a 9MM handgun out the window of the car which was later recovered by deputies.

The teen was taken to the Calhoun County Jail and faces charges of Home Invasion, Felonious Assault, Carrying a Concealed Weapon and the Use of a Firearm in the commission of a Felony.
