A yearly event in downtown Lansing is being pushed back due to the threat of bad weather this weekend.
The 9th annual Taste of Downtown is being moved from Saturday, July 21 to Saturday, September 8. Organizers say the move is due to the threat of predicted thunderstorms and heavy rain into the area on Friday afternoon and continuing through the weekend.
Tickets purchased in advance will be valid for September 8.
