A resident called police about a suspicious vehicle in the 700 block of E. McDevitt in Jackson County. When police went to investigate, they discovered it was stolen.

Jackson County Undersheriff Christopher Kuhl said while investigating the scene, evidence was uncovered to develop several suspects.

Deputies were able to locate four suspects, all in the 18 to 19-year-old age range and from the Jackson-area.

The sheriff’s office was also able to link the four suspects to numerous other crimes that have occurred within the last several days in the Vandercook-area. The crimes included two stolen vehicles, a burglary and around five larcenies from vehicles.

Kuhl said that charges are being sought against the four teenagers.
