Suspicious death ruled a homicide

On Tuesday Lansing Police were sent to the 200 block of E. Mt. Hope to check the welfare of a 54 year old Lansing resident.

When police arrived they discovered the resident, Dolores Drouillard, was deceased. She suffered an apparent gunshot wound. No other individuals were in the residence.

During the investigation officers shifted the investigation from suspicious death into a Homicide investigation.

On Wednesday Police developed information on the location of a possible person of interest. Police found the person of interest in the 8000 block of W. Herbison Rd, in Eagle, Michigan.

The person of interest is a 55-year-old Lansing man, who police say is an acquaintance of the victim. He was located and arrested on an outstanding Felony warrant. The victim's vehicle was also located at the person of interests residence.
