LANSING TOWNSHIP, Mich. — Lansing Township Police responded to a call around 2 a.m. Monday about a possible shooting at Waverly Woods West Apartments on South Waverly.
What was suspected to be an active shooter turned out to be from a high powered BB gun.
The shots were reported to come from an apartment and a Buick Rendezvous.
One resident went to the hospital with multiple wounds from the BB gun.
The shooter was arrested and is in custody.
The Lansing Township Police are still investigating this situation and what the cause was.
