Suspect wanted in string of bank robberies

Posted

Several different police departments across Michigan are working to catch the man accused in a string of bank robberies across Michigan.

The Pittfield Township Police Department just released this photo yesterday. Officers say he walked into a bank on April 21, handed the teller a threatening note and took off with cash.

The same man is accused of trying to rob the Bank of America on Lake Lansing Road in East Lansing last Thursday. Officers say the man threatened the teller with a bomb, but didn't make off with any cash at that attempt.

The string of robberies apparently started on March 28, when the suspect robbed a bank in Ann Arbor. Police say he handed the teller a note saying he had a bomb and demanded cash.

He's described as a white male, 6'1" and wears sunglasses during each robbery. If you know who this is, please call the Lansing Police Department.
