The U.S. Marshals service has arrested a man suspected of sexually assaulting a minor in Adrian.
Germaine Byrd was arrested in the Fort Worth, Texas area and is awaiting extradition back to Michigan. Byrd, who is 44, will be charged with three counts of first-degree criminal sexual conduct with a person younger than 13.
He faces life in prison if convicted. The arrest warrant was issued in May.
Adrian police contacted the Marshals office after getting information that he'd left Michigan.
