Investigators said the incident started when two groups of people got into an argument at the park.
It got physical and then shots were fired. A 16-year-old and 19-year-old were also shot, and Taijion Gant,17, was killed.
Gant's family talked to FOx 47 and said he was a fun, loving kid.
“Selfish act, senseless act,” said Gant’s grand-mother Gloria Pearl Jones. “I don't want to see any more bloodshed. It has to stop.”
Family and friends held each other tight while crying out in disbelief of the tragedy that cut the teen's life short at a vigil held on August 7.
“It warms my heart to know that so many people loved him because he was a lovable kid, that's just how he was,” Jones said. “He was a fun, loving kid.”
