Survey: Residents happy about economy, not as happy with elected officials

According to a survey released by Michigan State University residents are happy about the state's economy, but not as happy with their elected officials.

954 Michigan adults were interviewed between April 19, 2017 and July 30, 2017.

President Donald Trump had favorable ratings from 28% of those participating in the survey. While Gov. Rick Snyder had positive reviews from 29.3%.

62% called their current finances good, or excellent. That's the highest percentage since 2002, according to SOSS Director Charles Ballard.
