Supporters react to debate

Across the street from the debate, protestors hoping to have their voices heard.

"We got a lot of national attention right here," said Derelle Blake who lives in Flint.

A topic both presidential candidates and their supporters focused on.

"I do think she has a passion for all the crisis that's happening here," said Angeles Roth, who supports Hillary. "The water situation is just a travesty."

"I'm supporting Bernie Sanders because he is fighting for people that don't have a voice," said Sam Riddle, who supports Bernie. "What better to hold that than in Flint, Michigan."

A city filled with people looking for answers.

"Flint you know should have a light shined on a long time ago," said Beverly Perry, who's voting for Hillary.

As voters look to cast their ballot this Tuesday.

"My head is with Secretary Clinton," said Ebru Uras, who's undecided. " I don't think anyone has been as prepared as she is to run for president and be president. What I love about the Sanders campaign is that it's making the Democrats as a whole really look to the left and talk about some of the fundamental inequalities that we have in our country."

"People will remember Flint," said Blake. "This crisis is not over. It's about the kids. It's about the people here in the city."

A city they say deserves to be in the spotlight for tonight's debate.
