Study: Getting the flu shot during pregnancy poses no harm to baby

Posted

Vaccination during pregnancy is not harmful to infants.

That's according to a new government study of 400,000 newborns.

Babies whose moms got a flu, Tetanus, Diphtheria, or Whooping cough vaccine had no increased risk of health problems during the first six months of life.

Researchers say these vaccines are extremely important to protect the health of mom and baby.
