At the state capitol on Wednesday, hundreds of grade-school students showed lawmakers new technology that they had been working on.
It was part of the state's Student Technology Showcase, which allows students to demonstrate innovative classroom technologies that enhance teaching and learning.
State Rep. Sylvia Santana was presented with an education award during the event as well.
