The Eaton County Sheriff's office is reporting some unusual activity from over the weekend.
On Sunday, around 6 p.m., deputies were sent to check on a person they called, "suspicious." He was in the 1600 block of East Grand Ledge Highway (M-43), just west of Grand Ledge.
Apparently, he told people in the area that there might be a dead person inside a house nearby.
Deputies found the man and went to the the home where he said the body was and they did find a dead man inside it.
Deputies are investigating the incident as a homicide. They are holding a suspect in conjunction with the case.
The Michigan State Police told FOX 47 that they did send their crime lab in to help with the investigation.
