As of Saturday morning, Consumers Energy was reporting nearly 10,000 power outages after strong thunderstorms moved through Mid-Michigan Friday night.
Most of those are in Jackson County where the storm downed trees and power lines.
Restoration time for most customers is set for 11:30 p.m. Saturday.
At its peak nearly 28,000 Consumers customers were without power.
