Five vehicles were seized from a possible chop shop in Jackson County on Sunday.
The Jackson County Sheriff's Office says deputies went to a property in the 6000 block of Sargent Road just before 10 a.m to follow up on a stolen vehicle investigation.
The deputies discovered a 'vehicle theft' operation, according to a news release. All five vehicles seized had been reported stolen and had their VIN numbers removed.
Deputies also found tools that were believed to be stolen, along with possible meth lab ingredients.
A 41 year old man living in a camper on the property was arrested on and outstanding warrant.
The Sheriff's Office says charges will be sought through the Jackson County Prosecutor's Office.
