LANSING, Mich. — Friday night is a special game for the Stockbridge Panthers.

They're hosting Petersburg Summerfield for their homecoming game and they'll be wearing pink.

They're honoring Sarah Henderson, who was diagnosed with breast cancer by selling pink t-shirts for Friday night's game.

"It is something that our football players come up on late Sunday night. I got a phone call, 'is it okay if we do this for homecoming?' and I was happy to do it Sarah's been a huge part of our community, shes volunteered within the schools and classroom and things as well as with our athletic department," Meghan Kunzel, athletic director said.
