State of Michigan wants to help you quit smoking

LANSING, Mich. — The Michigan Department of Health and Human Services is hoping to help you quit smoking this Summer.

The department is offering free nicotine patches, gum, or lozenges through September 30th.

The offer is part of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention Tips From Former Smokers campaign.

The campaign features real people who are living with the effects of smoking-related diseases and secondhand smoke exposure.
