LANSING, Mich. — The state of Michigan is reportedly experiencing internet connectivity issues.

The Michigan Department of State tweeted that all Secretary of State branch offices are closing for the rest of the day due to the state government network outage.

The Department of State said late fees will be waived on expirations Tuesday if customers complete their transaction on the next business day.

Earlier Tuesday, Michigan.gov tweeted that the issue "might impact the availability of certain services" and says they are working to fix it as soon as possible.

At this time there aren't much more details on what could have cause the issue or how long they will last.
