LANSING, Mich. — State officials inspected a Lansing medical marijuana shop after selling contaminated pot.

"H.G Lansing" is closed to the public right now.

There is a sign on the window saying that's because of the state issued recall.

FOX 47 News tried talking to the state inspectors as they left the shop, they would not comment.

The owner of the shop would not do an interview.

However, they put out a statement saying they are working with the state to get back open. It could take some time because they don't have enough marijuana that has passed safety tests.

Friday, the state announced marijuana products sold here tested positive for E-Coli, Salmonella and chemical residues.

Shops in Detroit and Kalamazoo also had some of their Marijuana recalled last Friday.

Just like "HG Lansing" is was contaminated with bacteria and chemicals.

"HG Lansing" is one of only two shops in Lansing with a valid city and state licence.
