LANSING, Mich. — The new era of bipartisanship at the Michigan State Capitol appears to be over, just a month after it started.

The State House voted along party lines Wednesday to override one of Governor Gretchen Whitmer's executive orders. The order eliminated three panels, giving businesses more say over the state's environmental policies.

Leaders in the State Senate have not decided if they'll vote yet.

The Governor responded by asking Attorney General Dana Nessel for a legal opinion on whether or not the panels violate federal law.
