LANSING, Mich. — If you're out and about in downtown Lansing at night, you should check out the Capitol building.
The building got a new and improved lighting system.
The old exterior lighting system was upgraded to much more energy efficient LED lights.
Those outdoor lights will be aimed at the Capitol's dome for the permanent position.
The new lights are all a part of the restoration and renovation of the Capitol building.
