LANSING, Mich. — UPDATE - The deceased man has been identified as; Todd William Allen (52 yrs. /Lansing, MI).
This Investigation is ongoing. Autopsy results will be available in the near future.

On Wednesday, 1/23/19 at approximately 2:45 a.m. Lansing Police were dispatched to an apartment in the 600 block of N. Cedar on a stabbing.
Upon arrival Officers located a 53 year old female and a 52 year old male inside of the apartment. Officers discovered an apparent stab wound to the male and begin first aid. Lansing Fire Department arrived and rendered medical treatment to the male. The male was pronounced deceased on scene. The female was transported to a local hospital where she is being treated for non-life threatening injuries
This death investigation remains in the early preliminary stages, however it appear to be domestic related. Lansing Police Detectives and crime scene investigators continue to interview and gather evidence.
There is no current threat to the general public with regard to this death investigation. Investigators are asking anyone to come forward with information to this investigation.
