IONIA COUNTY, Mich. — No one was injured in a boat accident that happened on July 14 at 10:30 a.m. on Morrison Lake in Boston Township.
The Ionia County Sheriff's office says that a speed boat was trying to pull a water-skier out of the lake when it ran into a bass boat.
Two fisherman on the bass boat jumped into the water before the boats collided to avoid injury.
They were rescued by a nearby boater.
Both boats were pulled to the shore and no one was hurt.
The crash remains under investigation.
