The Board of Trustees for Michigan State University held their regularly scheduled meeting Friday where students were honored for having a 4.0 grade point to discussion on new hires or objectives at the university.

Students and survivors of abuse from Larry Nassar were in attendance at the meeting; some wearing "silenced" gags over their mouths, and others shouting out comments during the meeting.

Outside the closed doors, parents of Nassar victims gathered, displaying pictures of their daughters that were abused at the hands of the former MSU doctor.

Signs were banned from this meeting and speakers were given a time limit.

Speakers ranged from the well-spoken to the emotional, students from all genders and races, to parents and even a faculty member.

During the regular business of the meeting, members of the audience would yell out, "Shame On You," to the board, or "Resign."

One speaker ended her comments by saying to the board, "You're time is up, resign."

John Engler politely addressed the crowd often, telling them they would have their time to speak. He also shared that on April 25 and 26 in New York City that over 200 lawsuits against MSU would be heard.

Lisa Lorincz, mother of a Nassar survivor, addressed the audience during her time to speak, telling them that "she gets it, but that anger is very damaging." When her time was up at the podium and she was asked to step aside, the room rang with people chanting, "Let her speak."

Following Lisa, was her daughter, Kaylee Lorincz. She started out by addressing the board and stating her disgust at their "lack of action" since the Nassar sentencing. She begin to talk to the audience about a meeting that she had with Interim President John Engler; as she began, Engler interrupted her and stated, "Be careful, get our facts straight." Then she proceeded to say that in a meeting with her mother to meet the President and former governor, he offered her $250,000. She says she told him that it wasn't about the money, in which she alleges he said, "give me a number." Kaylee then said that Engler told her that he had the same conversation with Rachael Denhollander and that Rachael gave him a number. However, Kaylee pointed out that she spoke with Rachael after that, and Rachael says there was no such meeting. A copy of Kaylee's statement is attached to this article.

Many more people spoke after Kaylee. A couple concentrating on the fact that MSU "let" white nationalist Richard Spencer speak on campus. One person even stating that MSU let him speak but in the trustees meeting on Friday, they couldn't have signs and were held to a time limit.

FOX 47's Alani Letang spoke to the parents who told her they are mad, and hurt and that they want MSU to be held accountable for Nassar's crimes. One father told Alani that he was more mad at MSU than at Nassar.
