EAST LANSING, Mich. — Spartan Head Coach Mark Dantonio held a weekly press conference Tuesday, this one following the Spartans loss to Ohio State this past weekend--leaving many fans shaking their heads at the 34 to 10 score.
There's no time to rest though for the Spartans as they have another tough road ahead of them with a game against Wisconsin this weekend.
Dantonio is 4-4 against the Wisconsin Badgers during his time at Michigan State. If he wants to get that fifth win against the Badgers this weekend in Madison, the team will have to play mistake free football.
"Yeah I guess you have to be perfect," Dantonio said. "That's what you try to do every single game. I don't think we've played a complete game yet. So we try to look for that, I don't know who does but you keep trying to shoot for that. I've already talked about the things that they do well, you can't go up to Wisconsin and turn the ball over. They took a step back last year in their respect at eight and five and they've accelerated things. We're looking forward to the challenge and it should be a great football game we'll be ready to play."
The last time the two teams met was back in 2016 and the Spartans fell 30 to 6.
Michigan State and Wisconsin will face off in Camp Randall Stadium at 3:30 p.m. Saturday. You can also watch the game on the Big Ten Network.
