After a weekend of rain, the burn ban in the area has been lifted.
Specifically, Delhi and Alaiedon Township.
A press release from the fire departement was sent out to this effect on Monday morning.
It said: "Due to the current change in weather conditions the Open Burning Ban has been lifted effective immediately July 23, 2018 for Delhi and Alaiedon Twp.'s. Thank you for your cooperation during the ban. Please remember that a permit is required for any open burning and can be obtained from the Delhi Twp. Fire Dept. office located at 2074 Aurelius Rd and Alaiedon Twp. office located at 2021 W. Holt Rd, Mason. As a reminder Per Delhi Twp. Ordinance that no open burning is allowed if winds are over 10 MPH."
