There is a 911 outage for AT&T Wireless customers in Ionia County, and in other locations across the nation. If those customers attempt to call 911 from an AT&T wireless phone, it will ring busy.

According to the Associated Press, a spokesman for AT&T said that the company is aware of service issues. The spokesman could not provide more details on how widespread the issue was, or when it would be fixed.

If you're an AT&T customer, and you have an emergency in Ionia County you can call 616-527-0400. If you're located in a different county call the number for your local police, and the call will get rerouted.
