The family that solders together, stays together.
This weekend the Lansing Makers Network held soldering workshops.
They partnered with Impression 5 Saturday to teach parents and kids about the craft.
Brian Adams of the Lansing Makers Network explains why people enjoy the workshop.
"It's a fun skill. It's something that you can go online and find kits for all kinds of different projects to build and put together and you know it's kind of a more technologically advanced version of model making."
Saturday's class focused on families.
In honor of Valentine's Day, they made a heart with flashing lights.
Sunday's class is geared toward couples. Late registration costs $30.
