On Monday, a judge sentenced a former girls softball coach to serve nearly nine to forty years in prison.
45-year-old Thomas Galloway of Grand Haven, is accused of sexual assaulting a player on his team.
She says the abuse started in 2012 when she was just 13.
He pled no contest to four first-degree sexual assault charges.
Galloway was the founder of more than one travel softball teams on the west side of the state.
