One day after President Trump rolled out his tax cut plan, Governor Rick Snyder is downplaying the chances of rolling back Michigan's income tax rate.
He said he doesn't think it's a viable option right now, but he wouldn't go so far as to threaten the veto.
The Governor also left the door open to a different kind of tax relief. House Republicans came up short by a few votes in their first attempt to lower the income tax rate this year.
They are kicking around the idea of trying to make a tax cut part of the state budget.
