Keeping the greater Lansing area safe from crime brings together top state and local leaders Tuesday.
Governor Rick Snyder headlining a public safety forum at Pattengill Middle School.
He's joining the state police director, Lansing's police chief, and Mayor Virg Bernero talking about strengthening police-community relations in the capital city.
They addressed around 75 invited community stakeholders,, who then broke into focus groups to come up with ways to keep the line of communication open between police, and the people they serve.
