Governor Rick Snyder's Chief of Staff is leaving Michigan for a new job at the White House.
Jarrod Agen has taken a job a the communications director for vice president Mike Pence.
Agen first joined the Michigan governor's office back in 2014 as communications director. Agen was appointed to Chief of Staff in January 2016.
Governor Snyder said in a statement: "Our loss is a great gain for vice president Pence and the Trump administration."
Agen's replacement at the Michigan office has not yet been announced.
