Three men are rushed to the hospital in Jackson after their snowmobiles fall through the ice early Wednesday.
It happened a little after 1:00 a.m. on Center Lake in Michigan Center.
Blackman Township police tell us the three men were riding on two snowmobiles across the lake on thin ice, when they hit a patch of open water.
They fell in, the three managed to get to an island in the lake, where they were eventually rescued by Napoleon Township's ice water and rescue team.
One of them was hurt, all three were taken to Allegiance Hospital in Jackson.
Experts say ice is dangerous this time of year because of changing conditions. They say if you are going to ride on thin ice, you should be sure it's actually frozen by testing the ice thickness.
