A Meridian Township family was forced out of their home after smoke flooded their attic.
Firefighters responded to the home on Baker Street just before 3 a.m. Wednesday morning.
They say exposed wiring from a ceiling fan caused the smoke.
No one was hurt and there is no extensive damage to the house.
