With the blowing snow, it could be a slippery commute this morning, you'll want to leave a few minutes early.
More snow fell overnight, and it got even colder which means the roads froze up.
Lansing Police tell us there have been a few accidents this morning.
It has been snowing all night long. Salt trucks are out, but crews are salting the main roads first, which means side roads will likely be the slipperiest this morning.
"You will not have the same traction that you will on the major streets," says Lansing Director of Public Service Chad Gamble.
Not too long ago, we were enjoying the 55 degree temperatures, and many of us got spoiled by the mild weather.
But now that the cold and snow are here, drivers are urged to slow down. Allow plenty of time to get to your destination, and don't tail other drivers.
Allow yourself plenty of distance between other cars in front of you.
