Skin cancer cases on the rise

As you hit the pool and the beach this Summer It's so important to protect your skin.

New data from the Blue Cross Blue Shield insurance company shows cases of Melanoma have increased 7% over the past four years.

Experts say indoor tanning is a major culprit.

Studies show people who first use a tanning bed before age 35 increase their risk for melanoma by 75%.
But even if you don't indoor tan be sure to use sunscreen, limit your sun exposure and wear protective clothing.

Skin cancer is the most common cancer in the U.S. 

More than 9-thousand people are diagnosed with it every single day.
