EATON COUNTY, Mich. — The case against Lou Anna Simon is being delayed.
The former Michigan State University president was supposed to have a preliminary hearing on Thursday but it now will start next Tuesday.
It won't wrap up until mid-April.
The Eaton County District Court has scheduled the rest of it for April 8th, 9th and 16th.
Simon is charged with lying to police about when she knew about the abuse allegations against Larry Nassar.
The hearing will determine if there's enough evidence to put her on trial.
