DELTA TOWNSHIP, Mich. — On Tuesday, Eaton County Sheriff Tom Reich confirmed that a drive-by shooting occurred at Zap Zone around 8:30 p.m. The area where the incident happened is near the Lansing Mall.
The three-year-old victim was inside Zap Zone when shots rang out on the outside of the building and she was struck. According to officials, the victim is believed to be a girl. However, they did not want to confirm.
“A three year old has been shot who was inside the building and we’re looking for a suspect...or suspects who are responsible for this shooting,” said Sheriff Reich.
The three-year-old is now at a local hospital and in surgery.
