Shiawassee County Central Dispatch says that residents in the Byron Area with landline phones with phone numbers starting with 810-266-___ will not be able to call 911.
This is landline phones only.
Residents will need to call the non-emergency number at 989-743-9111 or use a cell phone to call 911 if they need police, fire, or EMS.
AT&T does not have an estimated restoration time. Shiawassee Central Dispatch will update citizens as soon as possible.
