The MSU Police Department sent out an alert to students in the early morning hours of Tuesday, December 15, 2015, advising them that a sexual assault had occurred near Michigan Avenue in East Lansing.
The incident occurred at approximately 2:00 AM. The suspects are three white males in their forties, driving a red van.
East Lansing police say the victim, a 21-year-old MSU student, was in the downtown area on Monday night. She got a ride home from the three men, saying she met them earlier that night.
The woman said the men took her to her apartment complex in the 1100 block of Michigan avenue. The victim says she was sexually assaulted by one of the three subjects in the van when they got to her parking lot.
She described the man as being around 40 years old, with blonde hair and a beard.
