Strong storms rolled through the mid-Michigan area early Sunday which led to downed power lines, and flooding in some areas.
Power lines went down on Marsh Rd. in Meridian Township which kept the road closed for more than two hours.
But flooding also hit the Lansing area. Due to backed up storm gutters, roads across Lansing have standing water where it can't drain. The city department of public service is responsible for clearing those storm gutters, but fire departments have had to clear debris from some to ensure roads drain effectively.
The department of public service can be reached if you see a problem with storm gutters at (517) 483-4161.
