LANSING, Mich. — The 19th annual Senior Activities Fair was held in Lansing was held in Lansing on Thursday.
The event was meant to celebrate senior citizens in the Lansing area and highlight services that are available to them.
Mayor Andy Schor was at the event and told NEWS 10 that events like these are incredibly important.
"it's great to recognize our seniors and invite them in and show them all the resources that we have for them in our community here in Lansing," he said.
A variety of vendors were at the fair covering everything from senior living to senior health.
Free food and live music was included in the fun event which was sponsored by Dimondale Nursing Care Center, C2AE, MSU Federal Credit Union and McLaren Greater Lansing, and took place at Gardner Middle School.
