Senior citizens are rallying at the Capitol today, raising awareness for issues effecting older adults.
One issue at hand: in-home medical services. Organizers say about 7,000 older Michiganders were on a waiting list for in-home services.
Other issues include preventing elder abuse, dementia care and support, as well as public transportation.
More than 1,000 seniors are expected to attend that rally. It starts at 10:15 a.m. on the Capitol lawn.
