Senator Debbie Stabenow was in Lansing Monday, pushing her New Skills for New Jobs agenda.
The legislation would offer up federal money to expand state job training programs and add more career counselors in schools.
Senator Stabenow says the plan will help fill million of manufacturing jobs expected to open up in Michigan over the next several years.
