Not much has changed when it comes to shrinking seats on airlines.

But one lawmaker is fighting to speed up that change.

New York Senator Chuck Schumer says the Federal Aviation Administration is too slow in tackling airline seat size concerns.

He wants the FAA to comply with a law to establish minimum seat size standards for airplanes.

The law was part of a re-authorization bill passed in September, requiring the FAA to take action.

It gives the agency a year to do it, including the chance for the public to voice its opinion.
