A truck driver from Lansing is facing drunk driving charges after crashing his semi-truck in Kentucky Tuesday night.

The crash burned the semi down to its frame and shut down I-65 in Louisville for 8 hours.

Police say they could smell alcohol on the driver's breath and he was dazed and slow to respond to questions.

Brad VanDeventer has been charged with CDL Under the Influence of Alcohol/Controlled Substance. He's behind bars on a $10,000 bond.

No one was hurt in the crash.
