Second sex assault case against ex-CMU student

LANSING, Mich. — Another sexual assault case was filed Friday against a former Central Michigan University student government association president.

This is the second sexual assault case against Ian Elliott, who already was bound over for trial on two counts of criminal sexual conduct - third degree and one count of assault with intent to commit penetration.

The victim in the latest case testified as a witness in the preliminary exam of Elliott's first case.

The Office of the Attorney General found sufficient evidence to charge him in the second case.

Elliott was given a $30,000 bond. His arraignment is scheduled for Monday, March 4.
