Mid-Michigan artists have a chance to see their work on display in a very prominent spot.
The Arts Council of Greater Lansing and The Capital Region Community Foundation are looking for a sculpture for the roundabout at Washington Square and Michigan Avenue in downtown Lansing, one block in front of the State Capitol.
The project is open to all professional sculptures--- but preference will be given to artists who live or work in Ingham, Eaton and/or Clinton County. The sculpture should reflect the welcoming spirit of Lansing, beyond its status as the capital city.
You have until July 23 to submit a proposal. For more details -- click on the link within this story.
