Republican Attorney General Bill Schuette has accepted three invitations to debate Democrat Gretchen Whitmer in the race for Michigan Governor.
One is scheduled at WOOD TV 8 in Grand Rapids on October 9th, another at WDIV in Detroit on October 24th, and at WPBN In Traverse City on the week of October 1st or October 15th.
Whitmer's campaign has not confirmed that she will partake in the debates, but earlier this month she proposed debates with Schuette in Detroit, Grand Rapids and Flint.
Schuette says he hopes both sides can 'skip the debate on debates' and quickly agree to them, with unlimited topics.
