LANSING, Mich. — Lansing Mayor Andy Schor spoke about the city's successes over the past year and goals for 2019 during his State of the City address Wednesday night.
Schor talked about the fatal fire at the LaRoy Froh housing development and the city's response to that disaster.
He talked about the snow emergency declaration and the work done to keep roads clear and other services available for Lansing residents during last week's winter storm.
He talked about creating the Lansing Veterans Commission on Wednesday in an executive order.
Schor laid out a plan to leverage the city's diversity and employment opportunities, bettering our public spaces so Lansing's roads and art make the city more welcoming to outsiders and future residents, and diversifying housing for city residents.
